Welcome to Eurekah!
You have been invited to edit a book for the Landes Bioscience / Eurekah publishing program.
Landes Bioscience is a bioscience publisher, making the transition to the internet as Eurekah. The chapters in all our books will be posted at our new website
We combine conventional book publishing with an online database of updateable book chapters and custom book printing. Chapters selected from across the entire database comprise custom books. These books can be used for courses and for labs.
In this way our conventional book publishing program will comprise a comprehensive internet-based database of bioscience and medicine at Eurekah. There are several advantages in putting our books online:
- We will post each chapter as it is received and approved by the Editor (you!) for publication so the URL can be cited and the chapter will be available before the book is in print.
- We will publish color at the website, of course.
- The database is updateable.
- The database is searchable.
The audience for Eurekah will be:
- Scientists
- Graduate students
- Science media
- Biotechnology investors
Main contributors to each chapter will receive:
- A copy of the book in which their chapter appears.
- Free, unlimited access to Eurekah for six months and for each year thereafter they update their chapter.
Full chapters can be posted at Pub Med where they will be available at no charge to the public.
It's an exciting time to be a bioscientist and an exciting time to be publishing bioscience. We hope you will enjoy publishing with us.
