About the journal
Launched in January 2010, Bioengineered Bugs is the first international peer-reviewed journal of its kind to focus on genetic engineering which involves the generation of recombinant strains (both prokaryote and eukaryote) for beneficial applications in food, medicine, industry, environment and bio-defense.
